Charisma Carpenter

 Charisma Carpenter (born July 23 1970) is an American actor from America. She played Cordelia Chase in Buffy the Vampire's supernatural drama (1997-1999) in addition to the spin-off show Angel (1999-04). She also starred with Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablancas (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell (2012-2013) and Lacy (2010-2012 strong>

 



 

  Carpenter was the daughter of Christine Carpenter who was a bird sanctuary worker as well as Don Carpenter (a salesman) She was born in Las Vegas. Carpenter is from Spanish (from her maternal grandmother), French, German and German descent. Carpenter was a student at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. she also was a part of a group of dancers and singers that was a part of the Las Vegas Valley when she was just nine years old.

 



 

  Carpenter, then 15, moved with her family to Rosarito Beach in Baja California, Mexico [2] and later to San Diego, California. She was a student at Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. 2] [failed verification] Following her graduation, Carpenter traveled throughout Europe. When she returned to San Diego, she worked as a clerk at a video store, an aerobics instructor, as well as in property management. She played cheerleader for San Diego Chargers football in 1991. In 1992 she moved to Los Angeles.

 



 

  Henry Hubbard Jr., an ex-police officer from San Diego and serial rapist, attacked her and two male companions as she was in the water in San Diego in the year 1991. Hubbard tried to subdue them with a gunpoint. Both her friends and Hubbard were both shot during the struggle. Hubbard fled the scene and her two friends survived. Hubbard was arrested, later convicted and sentenced to 56 years of prison for a series of robberies and rapes. Carpenter carried Hubbard's police-issued flashlight from the beach that he had left on the beach, and the flashlight was one of the key pieces of evidence used against him

 



 

  Carpenter was No. Carpenter was ranked No. 31 on AskMen's Top 99 desirable women 2002[3031. 44 on their 2005 list. Carpenter stated that she doesn't think of herself as a sex icon despite this. Carpenter was featured on the cover as well as in a 10 page nude photograph in the June issue of 2004. People magazine asked Carpenter in 2005 if she would ever again pose for Playboy. Carpenter replied "I don't know." Playboy was a decision that I made for a very particular reason. It wasn't just an effective financial choice and a good choice for me, but it was also about my current situation within my life. Following the birth of my son, I gained 50 pounds in the course of pregnancy. I wanted to feel like my old self again. I wanted to be desirable and attractive. So I thought, 'What do I do if I go full-on'
